About me

My name is Evan I am a year 8 I have three brothers and 2 sisters I am 11 years old my birthday is on march the 22nd I go to Pt England school. I'm in class 5 and my teacher’s name is Mrs paget. I like to play sports like basketball my favourite colour is blue. My hobby is going to the swimming pools with my friends. I like to play Ps3 games and playing with my friends at school.

Netbook reflection 2013

I like my netbook it helps me to learn a lot more.I like to do writing on google docs and and I like to blog post. Sometimes we have to go on someone’s blog and leave a good comment.

I like to go on my blog and to see if someone has leave a comment but no one hasn't.

Sometimes we do games only if we finished of all our work and our checklist but games are not learning. Sometimes we go on youtube to check out some cool stuff.Sometimes Mr barks lets as

go on his links to youtube to look at some strategy’s and to learn them.We go on sites like maths whizz xtramath and studyladder.

Action World

On Friday some of the year 7s went to action world we went on bus's it took us like 30 minutes to get there. When we got there we had some lunch.Then we talked about the rules. We had to be in groups. There was jump and slide free climb jungle swing and the crazy ladder trapeze

high wire and jousting bridge and a trampoline. My favourite one was the high wire because you

walk on this wire and when you fall you land on this soft pad and you can flip of but you have to land on your back or but. My low point was the crazy ladder you have to go up this ladder but it is wobbly and you can fall of easily. After all that you get free time you can go on anything you want.Then we all had to go sit next to the trapeze if you wanted to go on you had to complete the jungle swing.

Highlight of the year 2013

When I was a year 7 we had to go to the street it’s like a small hall. When all the year 7s and year 8s got there Mrs Nua called our names and a room number like room 15 19 20 21 and 22 I wanted to be in my friends classroom. But I went to room twenty two.

As the terms went by we did lots of fun stuff we played games like touch handball lightning ball and more. But it was boring when we had to run around the reserve lots of times.

And we had swimming lessons for one week.

And I made a friend called William and more and some times we used to hate each other. Then my cousin came her name was

Gianna she came to pt England school three years ago.Then Gianna’s brother came called Michael he went to 2 schools called green meadows and west bridge west bridge is a home school so he sleeps there and on the weekends he can come over when term 3 was almost over we had athletics and we had cross country.

I liked this year because it has been so fun with Mrs Nua And Mr barks and all my friends.

We also had fun on our netbooks I love my netbook. Now I am so looking forward for next year my goal was to be good this year and to be good at writing reading and maths and to be nice.

Learning how to swimm

 When I started swimming I was in the hot pool I had to keep on working to get to

the main pool so we worked on our freestyle and our backstrokes and I keep on working hard. Then I made to the main pool it looks so hard we have to not touch the ground because if a wave pulled you out to sea its not like you can touch the floor so that's why in the pool we can not touch the ground. and when we went to the cold pool we were learning about swimming on our side and when we do freestyle we had to count to 3 and when we put our head out.

 

We have to put our head to the side and put it on our shoulder then when our head goes back in our head goes first.I think I do good and well.IN the futire I need to work on my backstrokes. we learn not to touch the ground and to breathe out of the water.

My first day at school

As I woke up at 7.30 in the morning my mum told me to get ready for school Evan so I got up I went to the bathroom washed my face. I had my breakfast it was weetbix and milk. So I got my bag with my lunch and put my shoes on and I was all ready to go to school. But there was one problem it was raining hard outside and I remember today it is Thursday and there is tech today and I had no raincoat so I had to run to school.

When I got to school I was wet and cold then we went in to class and sat down and did our wiata.

Then we did our pray when we were finished we went to tech I didn't want to go tech because it was raining and I wanted a raincoat but we got umbrellas and I got the smallest one and I still got wet and when I got to Tamaki  college I was soaking wet.
